How I ended up developing iOS App?

Authors

Learning iOS development has been really challenging, and that's one of the reason I stick with it.

Mobile Development?

Why?

Mobile development got my attention surprisingly years ago, because I needed it to make a Mobile app for a friend's business and I didn't have any idea on how to make it. It is well know, that family and friends think that if you're a programmer, you can build any application no matter the platform. They don't understand programming is like whatever other discipline where there's exist area specializations.

Difficulties

After I've decide to try to make the app for my friend, I found a diversity of programming languages and different platforms where I could have build it. Between those I got Java, Kotlin, Flutter, React Native, and Swift.

I decided to give it a try to every way of build it, even though it was really easy for me to pickup React Native as if was pretty familiar because I used to work with React and the Javascript environment.

But, I couldn't try swift or related technologies to iOS ecosystem because it is strictly required you have an iOS operating system to build them apps.

A few month later, I opt to get a Macbook computer, and started to learn swift, UIKit, swiftUI, after that, I ended up liking it and staying in this area.
